Back to School Shopping!

Well, we did it! Emma is ready for school. My mom and I took her shopping today and she felt like the queen of the world. It was a real blessing for the 2 paying because it was a tax-free weekend on clothing and school items! Which would mean a whole bigger savings for my Canadian friends! (I do not miss that outrageous % of taxes!) She got some new skirts and tops, matching headbeads and tights, of course, and new tennis shoes (sneakers) and Mary Janes. She was on cloud 9. She loved coming home and showing daddy and trying things on and twirling (the girl needs twirling skirts!). She was in a panic trying to decide what to wear tomorrow to church! We had a great day. Next year we will need to plan 2 days since Maelynn will be starting pre-K. Of course Nana had to buy 2 new outfits for Maley - she couldn't feel left out!! We had a great day and a restful night at home watching Tom & Jerry. What a classic!
